Mission Montana 2022

The GS Squad is well regarded at the secret government entity known to the general public as simply ‘The Agency’. The GS Squad humbly boasts the highest record of successful missions over the last two decades, including saving the world a few times. However, some mission reports omit details, and 13 years ago we left a ‘stone unturned’ in Montana. This mission aims to rectify that little oversight. If we are successful, no one will ever know. If we fail, everyone on earth will face a global communication blackout. Every military, communication and GPS satellite will be rendered useless. Each of their carefully calibrated guidance protocols will be compromised. The impact? An estimate of 7,000 fireballs from LEO (Low Earth Orbit) reentering the atmosphere. We would have no way to track where or when they will hit, and no way to communicate that information if we did.

Post-fireball destruction, the communication blackout would continue. Tech gurus would scramble to understand what led to this in the first place. The population of earth would be forced to wait impatiently while each satellite is carefully replaced. Only The Agency would ever know the true cause… the Montana Mission.

The ‘unturned stone’ is a machine code sequence developed over 50 years ago. It was such a negligible piece of code it was treated like a common bolt and nut. As the world moved on and the inventor of the code passed (or did they?), a discovery was made that interjecting just one digit at the register level would render the code useless. This simple addition would result in a catastrophe akin to every bolt on a bridge simultaneously coming loose! Sounds too easy, but getting to the root register of the code is impossible, or so it was thought. Little did we know, a lock exists deep in the core and a transmittable key code can do the gain access. That key code is now in a broker’s hands. Her code name: Wendy. Wendy is attending the IEEE Aerospace Conference at Big Sky this week with one intention: sell the key code to highest bidder. [Conference Linked Here!]

Our mission is to intercept the key code by posing as the buyer and lure Wendy into getting herself caught. The agency has intercepted the intended buyer in Boseman. The appropriate attire - a deceptive disguise - has been provided to a GS Squad member, his code name is Silver Fox.

The plan is to circulate among the attendees, catch Wendy’s eye, retrieve the key code, and save the modern world…

This classified video is our mission report. The footage reveals if the GS Squad was successful….
