Our Love Withstands (for Loriann)

In March of this year our lives changed, a virus that separates all of us, took some away from us. One of those lost from this world was Loriann Ella, a bright star in all the lives she touched, her energy filled the room and was pure. It was true energy and I believe this energy survives death. Our Love Withstands is about just that Love surviving death or separation. The spirit sustains and is no longer bound by time or gravity. A true love can be with you always, you hear their voice and feel their presence. The song I hope brings positive energy to all those you love but are not with at the moment. I had some wonderful help over the last few months making this. Special Thanks to:

Lyrics

Once upon a time
When the world was fine
Our hands held tight
With all our might
Then came the storm
All we knew went wrong
And we scattered about
But there was no doubt
Our love withstands
All this life demands
You always understand
Without request or demand
I know you’re there
To listen, to care
When life's unfair

My heart's laid bare x 3

When cloud cover lifts
When the wind finally shifts
You're the ones I’ve missed
We’ll be together in bliss (heaven)

Invisible barriers dissolve

Chaos resolves

You’ve been my shelter all along

So I’ll thank you with this song

 You’re my fresh air

Keep me awake and aware

My morning light, my evening prayer

My heart's laid bare x 3
